The Automation Portal targets those applications which need data logging and custom web pages without the trouble or cost of a PC. The Automation Portal uses the LInux operating system Apache web server, MySQL database, and Perl/PHP programming environment for industrial applications. It comes with an Ethernet port, an external USB port, and a RS 232 port to respectively offer communication to LAN networks, USB I/O and peripherals, or serial devices. |
As an OEM solution, Opto-Solutions can provide services to customize the portal for each unique application. The portal currently includes an Opto 22 Ethernet brain communication driver, but other custom protocols can be arranged.

The black, external aluminum extrusion measures 4.05"w x 5.15"h x 1.2"d, while the notched base adds .35" to each end of the width. The portal weighs .75lbs and runs on 5VDC @ 450ma (typical maximum).
